CHORUS

"Wish she could say him goodbye, so that she wouldn't hide tears in her eyes." Kartik was packing his bag as he have to go to Gujarat for his office work for 6 months and Naina decide to go with him but Kartik refuse and said that "I will back in 6 months and till then why don't you do your music course and when I get back we'll talk about your studio". She was very happy.

When Kartik was leaving, Naina said "do you remember your promise?" he said "yes" and kiss her on forehead and left for the station. And when he get there he call Naina and tell her about how's the city is and what his boss said to him on his first day and Naina tell him how her day was gone. And one day Naina ask Kartik "did you write a chorus for me which you have promise me"? He said " it's half done and I'll complete it till I come back.

Next 10 days when she was trying to call Kartik he was not picking as he was busy in work but after 10 days he call Naina and Naina didn't pick it up as she was angry and said to punish him when he get back after 3 days, and go to sleep. And Kartik was also tired so he left the office with his colleague but he left his diary in his colleague's car.

Next day On 26th Janaury 2001, when Naina wake up she saw a news on TV that a earthquake of richter scale of 7.7 has hit the Gujarat she was stuned she quickly call Kartik but he was not picking up so he call his friend in Gujarat and his friend said that "sorry his building has been fallen and all the people in the building is dead". She was shocked she wasn't know what to do, all the moments she had lived with him, the birthday celebrations, the graduation party was going in front of her eyes. More than 13,805 people were killed and 20,023 people were injured.

After few days a courier came to her by Kartik's colleague and inside it was Kartik's diary and on the last page it was written that " So you wanted a chorus? so here's one for you. "You are like the shore for which wave rise to touch, you are also like the home in which every nomad has a dream to stay." How's it? I know it's small but I'm not a proffesional writer you know and remember one thing, "even when the whole world is on rush, I'll write you a " CHORUS.""

Her 5 minutes: A short story

He became the love he never received . She was lying on the bed at 4 in the morning. That's when the alarm goes off, her boyfriend turns it off and after 5 minutes it goes off again, and her boyfriend turns it off again. Days pass, and the same thing happens every day, she tells him every day to turn it off. On 14th February 2019, she got a letter, "You kept on asking me why I set two alarms in the morning, that because I know that I am here only for a few days and those 5 minutes in the morning are very precious to me as I know that you are very busy whole day so I took those 5 minutes in the morning to hug you so that I can stay with you more, so I that I can keep you a little more, as I can't remember in my childhood someone hold me to hug and I don't want that to happen to you, Take Care." Another call in the evening of 14th February came and there was nothing but silence.
